We know you know that the Oktoberfest was originally created to celebrate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig of Germany to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on 12th October 1810.
But did you know that you don’t have to wait for your invitation to our Octoberfest, nor do you have to book tickets – simply turn up on the day (or both days if you prefer).
Entry on the day is £12 per person, including commemorative glass and 6 tokens. Children (U12s) are welcome and free of charge. Should you wish to come back on the Sunday, simply bring back your commemorative glass and entry is just £6, including 2 further tokens.
(Sorry re-entry on the Sunday without the glass will be £12 - so don't forget to bring your glass")
The dates for your diary are Saturday, 20 October and Sunday, 21 October.
