5. Easyfundraising - Shop online and help raise funds for our Club and its dream of our own home!

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Orrell and Winstanley Community Sports Club (the Joint Venture between Orrell RUFC and Winstanley Park Cricket Club) with easyfundraising?

We’ve registered Orrell and Winstanley Community Sports Club (Orrell RUFC and Winstanley Park Cricket Club) with #easyfundraising, which means over 4,000 shops and sites will now donate to us for FREE every time you use #easyfundraising to shop with them.

These donations will help SO MUCH, so please sign up to support us – it’s completely FREE and doesn’t take long. There are over 4,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds.

Watch this short video to find out how it works: https://youtu.be/N3Yoo6afssA

All you need to do is:

1. Go tohttps://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/owcsc/?utm_campaign=raise-more and join for free.

2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.

3. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to us - at no extra cost to you whatsoever!

There are no catches or hidden charges and, of course, will be really grateful for your donations.

Thank you for your support in helping us build the dream - not just for us, but our Joint Venture partners, Winstanley Park Cricket Club and our local communities

The Orrell & Winstanley Community Sports Club Joint Venture
As you know, Orrell RUFC and Winstanley Park CC have joined forces to develop a much needed Community Sports club. The clubs have signed a 99 year lease for the 13 acre site, situated next to Winstanley College, which will provide a permanent home for both organisations and an opportunity to boost both their thriving junior sections.
The new family orientated facilities will play host to Orrell RUFC, who will finally find a permanent home after leaving their Edgehall Road ground ten years ago. The new buildings will also enable the cricket club to continue to meet the requirements for affiliation to the Southport and District League.
The facility will be available to other community groups, with a particular focus on providing a sporting outlet for children which will help create a more cohesive and sustainable community.
