We are delighted that both Prospect Brewery and Wily Fox Brewery will be helping us deliver our very first Beer, Gin & Prosecco Festival this coming Saturday and Sunday.

Founded in 2007, Prospect Brewery is now one of the North West's leading independent real ale brewers. 2017 saw the start of a new and exciting chapter in their history with the move from Standish, our home for the last 10 years, to a new larger brewery in Wigan Town Centre. The company continue to have strong links to the towns mining heritage and the names of the beers are closely linked with this history and culture of the town. Their mission, quite simply, is to bring you imaginative but traditional real ales brewed using just four simple ingredients: barley, whole hops, yeast and water. Their range of 14 real ales, many of them award winners, are brewed to suit all tastes from the light golden beer of Silver Tally to the delicious dark mild of Nutty Slack and onto the dark stout of Big John.

Wily Fox Brewery started with an enthusiasm for real ale and good beer. This soon lead to the idea of making the perfect brew for personal preferences and the next step was a Microbrewery in which to make this brew. A couple of years ago now research into setting up a Microbrewery started. It has been a great journey from the start, business ideas were constantly floating around and it was a hot topic for the family. The first thing they all agreed on was the idea for the Brewery name, bouncing around thoughts and suggestions between the family and The Wily Fox was born. Wily Fox has five core brands! Diverse and quaffable, each with their own mouth full of flavour. These beers are designed to be all year rounders and to be enjoyed by all manner of taste buds. In addition, each month, the brewery creates a new speciality beer.

Too many to choose from .... why not try them all. Entry fee of £12 per person, includes a free commemorative glass and 6 tokens for your first choice of beer. Don't worry when they run, you can always buy more. All bars are token only but you can buy your tokens with cash or card.
