Investing in coaching & player training is very important to Orrell RUFC. 1xv forwards coach recently attended Preston Grasshoppers club. Here is Andy’s take on the event.

“Thanks to Orrell Rugby club for the opportunity to attend the Lineout Masterclass session held at PGH. The session was lead by England and the British Lions Lineout specialist Steve Borthwick. The session was extremely informative and offered some really useful tips regards to Intricate technique, decision making and post lineout strategies.”

“ As well as a 1st class input, it was great to see a few old faces from Orrell RUFC yesteryear and build coaching networks with Alex Moffat, Stu Turner and one of the community coaches who assisted Steve in Phil Kearns. The whole experience was absolute ‘Gold’ and I look forward to attending many more in my journey to become a better coach.”
