Orrell v Southport U9s, Sunday, 16 December 2018

Great display of tackling at Sundays U9s game with Orrell playing hosts to Southport. Southport brought their squad, with similar numbers to Orrell's, with the players showing determination and development for the whole game.

Orrell showed leadership via captain Harrison gaining a medal and new recruit Adam the players player trophy for his integration and running play within the squad.

Southport kept putting their running plays together, but with Orrell's Nathan, Luke, Lewis and Zaac showing strong defence keeping the opposition at bay. Super driving the ball in provided by Matthew and colleagues Finn, Archie and Edward setting up Jack to complete a few tries.

Our U9s are continuously developing their skills, with the spectators alike enjoying them playing a sport they enjoy. All boys and girls welcome to train at St John Rigby college Wednesdays 6pm to 7pm (commencing 9th January 2019)
