Another great win for our 2XV at home to Vale of Lune 4

Not quite the start Orrell expected, when an early penalty from Vale of Lune and a conversion puts Vale of Lune in the lead 0:3 after just 3 minutes.

Good work from Andy Kelly leads to a try, easily converted by Alex Gannon bringing the score to 7:3. Vale of Lune soon bring the score back to 7:6 with another penalty but Orrell immediately respond with a try from Dane Barry and another conversion from Alex Gannon, leaving the score 14:6.

Minutes later John Dickinson crosses the line for a try but the conversion was missed when the ball fell off the kicking tee.

Score at half time is 19:6

Orrell start the second half in the lead and some good rugby from the forwards allows Dante Morley-Samuels to try and Connor Farrimond to convert; making the score 26:6.
Coach Matty Stafford crossed the line for his first score of the season and again this was converted by Connor Farrimond. The score was now 33:6.

Vale of Lune manage to score a try but missed the conversion, leaving the score at 33:11. Some great rugby was followed by a try from Connor Farrimond & converted by Alex Gannon making the score 47:11.

Final score 47:11. Well played by both teams in the great spirit of rugby.
