Following on from the fabulous update on Orrell RUFC from Granada Reports on Tuesday this week (and if you missed it, you can download the clip from the website), we are delighted to tell you that BT Sport will be filming their Rugby Tonight Programme from Orrell RUFC this coming Monday.

The show will feature our open age players in the "smasho" contest, cheered on by our Mini and Junior Section and a demonstration class from Sale Sharks. The programme will be presented by Martin Bayfield and ex-Orrell player, & former England and the British and Irish Lions player, Austin Healey.

The video below gives you a small taster of what the end programme looks like. The programme is normally aired on a Wednesday evening and we'll let you know the date just as soon as we know.

Why are we doing this you may ask? Well, if we raise the profile enough of this great club, people may want to help us out with our dream of building our own home/pitches with donations, offers of help, volunteering, etc ......... besides we've lots to be proud of that we want to shout about!
