Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 27 June and any member of Orrell RUFC may stand for election as a club official or general committee member.
There are only a couple of pre-requisites: Each person nominated to stand for executive must be a member of Orrell RUFC and nominated by another member. We would love to have more people helping us with various roles and jobs throughout the club.
Official roles on the Executive Committee:
• Club President
• Club Secretary
• Club Treasurer
• Match-day/ Fixture Secretary
• Membership Secretary
• Communications Manager
• Commercial & Sponsorship Manager (including fund raising)
• General Committee Member
In the event of more than one person being nominated for a role, a vote shall be held at the AGM with all members having a vote. In the event of a tie, last year’s executive shall have the casting vote. Each role can have a deputy/assistant and anyone that isn’t successful in their preferred role will still become a member of the executive committee. Even if you don’t fancy being on the committee, you could volunteer to help us with lots of other jobs
All nominations must be received by 20th June 2018 which is 7 days before the AGM on 27th June at St Luke’s Church, Orrell starting at 7:45.
