BT Sport will be filming their Rugby Tonight Programme from Orrell RUFC today!!!!! Huge thanks to Winstanley Tennis Club and Winstanley Park Cricket Club for the use of their facilities for the filming and extra special thanks to the WPCC "clean up" team who spent their Saturday getting the club ready!

Our guests from Sale Sharks will be Ben Curry and Marland Yarde, who will be showing their skills and tactics and discussing all things rugby with the crowd and presenters, Austin Healey and Martin Bayfield.

We also can't wait to see how our open age players get on in the "smasho" contest, cheered on by lots of our Mini and Junior Section and mums and dads.

The programme will be presented by Martin Bayfield and ex-Orrell player, & former England and British and Irish Lions player, Austin Healey.

Why are we doing this you may ask? Well, if we raise the profile enough of this great club, people may want to help us out with our dream of building our own home/pitches with donations, offers of help, volunteering, etc ......... besides we've lots to be proud of that we want to shout about!
