Lancashire Legends RL team visit pre-season training at SJR.

Last night saw the Lancashire (yesteryear legends) RL team join in the training session with Orrell RUFC. Sam Tomkins was present tonight as coach of the Lancashire side which included the likes of Martin Gleeson, Paul Wellens, Sean Long and Gary Connolly.

1xv players John Presho, Max Huxley and Chris Owen made the switch to RL to make the numbers even. Martin Gleeson started his rugby career at Orrell RUFC before moving to RL. Visit was organised by Martin as part of his testimonial season events. #teamorrell
