Once again, Orrell RUFC is showcased in another great piece in the Wigan Evening Post today. This time, we are highlighting our exciting plans for the proposed joint venture for a Community Sports Centre. Now that the planning application has been submitted and the information is in the public domain, the article gives a good overview of what we, together with Winstanley Park Cricket Club, plan to do and is great publicity for everyone concerned.
However, you, as an Orrell RUFC member, may have some unanswered questions regarding the development and so we have prepared the attached Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) sheet, which will hopefully answer any questions or queries you may have regarding the development.
However, if you would like to know more about the development, or you have any unanswered questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Club Chairman, Tony Havlin, who said: “It’s exciting, because we have been without a home for nearly 10 years. “We have done a very professional job with the application and we are hopeful and quietly confident about it. “We also recognise there’s a long way to go and there’s a lot of fundraising which needs to be done, but we’re ready for the hard work which will lie ahead.”
So, what happens next?
