Moving the sign on Winstanley Road will not only see the start of our work to access the site and start the pitches but also make the road much safer for residents, Winstanley College and all users of the road itself. You can make a difference!

Please don’t wait to donate; we’ve only got so long as part of our Justgiving Campaign to raise the necessary funds before we must close the campaign and move on (no pun intended).

So, if you can donate, even just £5, it will help make a difference. Please, if you can’t donate, share our request amongst your family and friends. If you shared our request to just 10 of your friends and family, and they donated £5, that moves the sign £50 nearer to where it would make the road safer for everyone!

Just to let you know that we are doing our bit too; we’ve had two successful events in the last month to help our fundraising pot. Our Beer, Gin & Prosecco Festival was a great success and will be back bigger and better next year and the Fireworks/Bonfire at Holland Hall was amazing and another huge success. All proceeds from these events will go to our fundraising pot. Both events were organised and supported by volunteers from both Orrell RUFC and Winstanley Park Cricket Club, who freely gave their time and skills to make both events a success.

Our next fundraising event is our Hollywood themed Dinner Dance on 24th November. Tickets are still available if you would like to join us not only with our fundraising but having a night out too!
