Locals West Park St Helens and Leigh U9s turned up for a home game to meet Orrell, with all the player learning new skills and rugby knowledge throughout the morning.

Mid November, with the sun still shining, all the kids got stuck in with running play. West Park had Matthew volunteer from Orrell, gaining himself a medal for his performance.

Solid attacking play from both squads, plus some great tackling from locals from St Helens. Leigh stepped up with great passing ability and with Orrell defense being on form, supplied by Nathan and today's captain Zaac.

Players player award for Orrell was to Finlay, who showed a never give up attitude throughout all games.

All players showing constant improvement with friendships continually developing.

Training continues on a Wednesday evening at St John Rigby College, 6.00pm - 7.00pm and all new (and/or returning) player are welcome. Come and join the fun - the future's black and amber.
