What an exciting week for everyone here at Orrell RUFC. .... who ever said Rugby stops for summer was definitely wrong!
Rugby continues throughout the summer here at Orrell RUFC. Just this week we've had the Inner Warrior Camp last Wednesday - which was such a huge success, we will be running more!
Then on Friday,Fresh off the back of the Caldy success the Touch side recruited a few marquee players. ...... more to follow on that!
Then on Monday, members of Orrell RUFC received some very exciting emails when again, fresh off the back of winning at Caldy 7’s, 15 members of the Touch side were involved in trials for the North West regional side either playing or coaching. More news to follow.
Last but not least our Joint Venture Partners, Winstanley Park Cricket Club, hosted the annual pub cricket with teams representing Orrell RUFC; OSJ; the Delph and the Robin Hood to name a few. Over £400 was raised in aid of the Christie. Well done to @OSJARLFC U18 winning this year's tournament. WPCC are already planning for next year so add 24th May 2020 to your diary!
