Orrell RUFC U13s vs Ellesmere Port U13s

Home game for Orrell with visitors Ellesmere port bringing lots of kids. With the recent rainfall during the week, it left the pitches muddy.

Orrell got off to a quick start with newcomer, Harvey running in a half pitch try to set the game play. Another newcomer to the club, Jacob put in the running plays to get himself on the scoreboard within the forward’s play.

Back play was going well, with even another newcomer, Harry making sure he kept his calm and control with passing and running plays.

There were lots of position changeovers within the game, to give an idea to these young players what the sport is about but they all adapted really well. Orrell team celebrated a victory, but it was about the team play to gain the result they wanted.
