ORUFC Safeguarding Policy

Orrell RUFC is committed to the safeguarding and protection of young people.

Under the RFU Child Protection Policy and implementation procedures (see document attached), all staff and volunteers at ORUFC, who have substantial access to young people under the age of 18 and/or vulnerable adults must apply for disclosure.

This process, which is a mandatory requirement, will be facilitated on behalf of the game, both amateur and professional by the RFU who are registered with the CRB.

All coaches, Child Protection officers, Conditioning staff, Welfare officers, Development and performance staff, players conducting RU development activities, First Aiders, Physiotherapists, team managers & support staff, assistant managers and match official will require an enhanced disclosure.
