EDs is a Wigan based charity. Our ex-forces are heroes of our communities. We believe they should be treated with respect and honour.
We can help ex-forces to include; ex-military, TA, reservists, ex -police, ex-ambulance and ex-fire service members who are struggling to reintegrate into a normal work & family life because of possible trauma suffered during their service.
The programme is community-based, with treatment and support provided locally.
At EDs our mission is to provide our military and emergency service ex-forces and their families with high standard, compassionate and transitional support as they integrate back into civilian life.
Our goal is to ensure our ex-forces are safely housed and are receiving the support they need to build a stable home life on the road to full recovery.
We also aim to ensure they receive access to essential care and support provision through signposting to our community partners, in order that these issues are addressed by the correct professionals as quickly as possible.
At our EDs hub we provide a welcoming and relaxed environment were our clients can simply pop in for a chat or to access our high standard service provision.
