No rugby union game for us this weekend, so we’re going cross-code for a day. Yes, Rugby League – but before you start twitching, there’s beer involved.

The ABK Beer Rugby League Ashes kicks off this Saturday at Wembley – and since none of us fancied paying £8 a pint in London, we’ve convinced/persuaded/bribed Orrell Red Triangle CC to open their doors, stick the Rugby League Ashes on the big screen and keep the pints flowing instead.
