Before another hard pre-season training session got underway, our players and coaches came together to celebrate the presentation of the Lancashire RFU League Cup, recognising the commitment, determination and teamwork that delivered silverware for the Club.

The presentation marked more than just the end of a successful campaign. It was an opportunity to celebrate what this group has achieved together before turning its attention to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

With pre-season now well underway across the Club, the focus quickly shifts to the 2026/27 season. Players are already working hard on the training field, our Mini & Junior section has returned to training, and preparations continue behind the scenes as we build towards another exciting year for Orrell RUFC.

The League Cup is a reminder of what can be achieved through hard work, commitment and the support of everyone involved with the Club.

As we look ahead to a new season, we do so with confidence, ambition and excitement.

And, with our Centenary celebrations now on the horizon, this success feels like the perfect way to begin the journey towards celebrating 100 years of Orrell Rugby Union Football Club.
