Every Rugby Player Started Somewhere
The countdown is on!
With the Pasifik Skills Summer Programme getting underway on Tuesday, there's still time for young players to secure their place on what promises to be an exciting six weeks of coaching, development and fun.
Delivered in partnership with Orrell RUFC, the programme is led by our Head Coach, Denny Solomona, whose passion for developing players has already made a huge impact since joining the club.
Open to boys and girlsaged 6–18, the programme has been designed to help young players build confidence, develop core rugby skills and improve their game understanding in a positive, enjoyable environment.
For younger players, it's the perfect introduction to rugby, with engaging coaching, outdoor activities and the opportunity to make new friends while learning the fundamentals of the game. Foundation Group participants also receive a programme T-shirt and bag—just bring a packed lunch!
For older players, it's an opportunity to sharpen skills, improve decision-making and head into the new season with confidence under the guidance of one of rugby's most experienced coaches.
At Orrell RUFC, we're proud to support initiatives that inspire the next generation of players and strengthen rugby within our local community. As we continue our journey towards our Centenary in 2027, developing young people both on and off the field remains at the heart of everything we do.
The programme starts on Tuesday, and spaces are limited.
If you're looking for an exciting, active and rewarding way for your child to spend part of the summer, we'd encourage you to book today and avoid missing out.
