You may have noticed something appearing quietly across our social media over the last few weeks… A badge that looks a little different.

Or perhaps, if you've been an Orrell RUFC supporter for a while - a badge that looks very familiar indeed.

With a new season underway and a new century ahead, it felt like the right time to look back as well as forward. Our history is a big part of what makes Orrell what it is and some things are worth bringing back. So we're bringing back a badge that has represented this club before — and one that you will now see across all of our official communications going forward.

We've slowly been introducing it over the last couple of weeks but, as we head towards our first game of the new season, our Centenary year and a future that is Black & Amber, this is the badge you'll see across all official Orrell RUFC communications — from our teams and matchdays to our website, social media, club material and everything in between.

Because this isn't about leaving our history behind. It's about taking it with us.

A new season.
A new chapter.
A new century on the horizon.
And a badge that connects where we've come from with where we're going.
