Sad news to announce the passing of John Sharples. John died peacefully at home with his wife Clare and children Anna and William on July 27th 2024.

John played at Orrell and became Club Secretary around 2000s era. John was club sponsor and part of our centenary sponsors. John moved away from Orrell due to work and came to watch Orrell commuting from Wrexham.

The funeral will take place on Monday 12th August 2024 at All Saints Parish Church, Gresford LL12 2RG at 11.30am.
