Following the delayed start to the competitive community game, we have now updated the Orrell RUFC fixture list to reflect the revised start date of along with all of the re-arranged fixtures.

With the schedule now taking shape, it really is time to start looking forward to another exciting season of rugby!

And there is still some rugby to look forward to before the league campaign gets underway!

• Leigh RUFC v Orrell RUFC

Our cup game against Leigh RUFC will still go ahead as scheduled, giving us the perfect opportunity to get the season underway and for our supporters to get back behind the lads.

Then, the league season begins in earnest on Saturday 26 September, with both senior sides in action:

• Orrell 1XV v Leigh RUFC — HOME
• Burnley 2XV v Orrell 2XV — AWAY

So, despite the delayed start, the countdown is now well and truly on… the new season is getting closer!
