The family of the late Ken Derbyshire would like to thank the club for the kind words, support, and a special thanks for the donations on the day, which raised £563.63.

This will be split equally between wigan and leigh Hospice and Prostate Cancer UK.

Ken’s funeral is on Thursday 29th February 2024, 1pm at St Matthews Church, followed by a cremation at St Helens Crematorium (due to limited space at the Crematorium the family have asked that this be for family only).

The family would like people to dress comfortably, wearing bright colours or traditional black. The family would like this to be a celebration of Ken’s life and what he did for the community.

Refreshments will be at Highfield Community Hall from 1.30pm and the family would love as many to come back as possible, sharing stories, talking about his life, funny stories etc, a genuine celebration.
