Not everyday you seen an Anvil and a Vixen on the same field .... but Orrell RUFC's Touch Section (Anvils) joined forces with our Girls Section (Vixens) to take part in an exhibition competition hosted by Ormskirk RUFC.

The "team" won one match; drew a second and lost the third .... but it was still a great night of rugby, team skills, team building, some laughs and lots of friendships ..... a great success for everyone concerned and all led by Orrell player of the Tournament Nicola Ryan.

If you would like to get involved with our Girls rugby squad, come on down to St John Rigby College every Wednesday night from 6.00pm onwards. You only need some trainers, a T-Shirt and shorts or leggings ... nothing more. It's great fun and who knows ... you could be leading the Vixens next time!

Our touch rugby section also train/play at St John Rigby college but on a Friday night again from 6.00pm onwards!
