FT Score 5-55

A convincing win for Orrell away at Bolton this week. Orrell's performance was characterised by their teamwork, dominant forwards, and relentless attacking prowess. The opening half of the match was a display of dominance from Orrell. Their powerful start was initiated by a great run from Captain Mason, who passed the ball out to Harrison on the wing, resulting in the first try of the game. Joe's precision with the boot was evident again this week as he successfully converted, putting Orrell ahead 7-0.

Orrell's relentless offensive pressure continued, and Seb's break from the halfway line culminated in a try beneath the posts. Joe, showcasing his kicking skill once more, added the extra two points, extending Orrell's lead to 14-0. Next, Joe broke through Bolton's defence and deftly released the ball to Will B. Will B's subsequent pass to Harrison resulted in Harrison's second try of the match.

Justin furthered Orrell's lead by picking up the ball from the back of an Orrell scrum and making an impressive run to score yet another try. Despite Orrell's commanding performance, Bolton showcased their determination by scoring a well-crafted try towards the end of the first half. The halftime score stood at 5-26 in favour of Orrell.

The second half commenced with Orrell's dominance persisting. Mason's early run again set the tone for Orrell's continued success, as he passed to Will B, who crossed the try line. Shortly after Will B added to his tally again with another strong run from deep within his own half for his second try.

Vice-captain Seb once again left an indelible mark on the match, scoring under the posts with precision. Orrell's relentless attacking continued and Jack E's impressive pick-up and run, followed by an expert pass to Jack M, ultimately led to Harrison's incredible hat-trick try, which was converted by Jack M. A commanding drive from Cody, culminated in Orrell's final try. The match concluded with a resounding score of 5-55 in favor of Orrell. Orrell's rucking and defensive play were notably improved this week, complementing their excellent attacking strategy; although their discipline needs a little work at times. Bolton's sportsmanship throughout the match also deserves special recognition.

Harrison was deservedly awarded the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance, particularly his hat-trick of tries.

Tries: Harrison (3), Seb (2), Will B (2), Justin, Cody.
