Orrell RUFC U8s Team

Welcome to the home page of the Orrell RUFC U8 team. The U8 team are always looking for new players to join us, from those that have played before to complete beginners. We train on a Wednesday evening between 6.00pm and 7.00p at St John Rigby College.

Our objectives are to provide enjoyable sport for each player, to develop individual and team skills to their maximum potential and to develop knowledge of and respect for the laws of the game and each other. We encourage a philosophy within the Club of ensuring that all our Mini and Junior players have fun, are safe (all our coaches are qualified and DBS checked) and learn a lot more than rugby skills, such as participation, team building, leadership and above all friendship.

We are committed to developing the highest possible rugby skills and techniques and whilst winning is the aim, playing your best, trying hard and having fun are of equal importance.
