Welcome to Orrell RUFC U10/U11s
One Team. Two Age Groups. One Orrell Family.

Welcome to the home of the Orrell RUFC U10/U11s.

Our U10/U11s play under a combined banner, bringing together young players from both age groups to train, play and develop alongside each other.

It is a great stage of the rugby journey — where players are building their skills, growing in confidence and discovering all the things that make being part of a rugby team so enjoyable.

LEARN. PLAY. HAVE FUN.

At U10/U11 level, rugby is all about learning through playing.

Our young players are developing their passing, tackling, running and decision-making skills, while learning how to work together as a team.

Every training session brings something new and every match provides another opportunity to put those skills into practice.

There will be great plays, mistakes, challenges, tries, tackles and plenty of smiles along the way — and that's exactly how it should be.

ONE TEAM, ONE CLUB

Although our players come from two age groups, they come together as one team.

The U10/U11s are learning the importance of supporting each other, encouraging their teammates and celebrating everyone's contribution.

Friendships made through rugby can last a lifetime, and we want every young player to feel that they are an important part of the Orrell family.

PART OF THE ORRELL PATHWAY

The U10/U11s are an important part of our Mini & Junior section and the wider Orrell RUFC pathway.

As our players progress through the age groups, they will continue to develop their rugby, confidence and understanding of the game — building the foundations for the years ahead.

For now, the priority is simple:

• Learn the game.
• Enjoy being part of a team.
• Make friends.
• Have fun.

And play to enjoy.

LOOKING TOWARDS 2027

With Orrell RUFC approaching its Centenary in 2027, it is fantastic to see the next generation of players coming through the club.

The U10/U11s are part of that future.

Every player who pulls on the black and amber becomes part of the story of Orrell Rugby Football Club — and we look forward to seeing where their rugby journey takes them.

JOIN THE U10/U11s

New players are always welcome.

Whether your child has played rugby before or is completely new to the sport, we would love them to come along, meet the team and give it a try.

Come and join the Orrell family.

Come and make some friends.

Come and play rugby.
