5. Match Day Bar Manager
Orrell RUFC has a vacancy for a bar manager (volunteer role) for a few hours for each home game at the Dr1ve Medicals Arena at St John RIgby College.
The Club has recently extended it's offering on home match days to include bar facilities as well as the usual tea, coffee and refreshments (manned by other volunteers).
The services offered are via a mobile bar and offers draught beer (pint/half pint), with other beers sold in cans/bottles and a small offering of spirits and mixers. That doesn't mean it isn't busy and has proved very popular with the bar selling out each and every match day so far.
As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for
- Setting up and dismantling/cleaning the mobile bar for home games
- Organising the storage/cooling of the bottles/cans for sale
- Organising spirits/mixers
- Arranging appropriate signage around the bar area
Prior/after Match Days:
- Ordering beer from the local suppliers, including draught and bottles/cans
- Ensuring adequate supply of spirits and mixers
- Ordering consumables such as disposable glasses
Hours of work would be approximately 4-5 hours on a Saturday afternoon.
