Meet the Safeguarding Team

Safeguarding is about people as much as policies.

Our Safeguarding Team is here to help make sure everyone at Orrell RUFC feels safe, supported and listened to.

They can help with:

  • Concerns about a player’s wellbeing
  • Questions about safeguarding or welfare
  • Advice for coaches or parents
  • Reporting incidents or worries

General support

There is no problem too small — if something doesn’t feel right, please talk to us.

The Club Safeguarding Officer oversees safeguarding across the whole club and works with the RFU where needed.

Team Safeguarding Leads

Each age group has a Team Safeguarding Lead who supports players, families and coaches within their squad.

They help make safeguarding visible, approachable and easy to access.
